Stainless Steel Used
<p>Our instruments are manufactured primarily from German and Japanese-grade stainless steel (commonly AISI 410, 420, and 440 series, depending on the instrument's function), chosen for its balance of hardness, corrosion resistance, and repeated-autoclave durability. Tungsten carbide inserts are used on cutting and needle-holder jaws where extended edge life is required.</p><p>Material selection is matched to each instrument's function - softer, more ductile grades for instruments that need to flex or be bent to shape, harder grades for cutting edges.</p>
